A dive into the world of test automation with Nekst IT! Because Nekst IT had the pleasure of giving a guest lecture to more than 25 second-year HBO ICT students at the Christian University of Applied Sciences Ede (CHE). At the invitation of the passionate teachers Daniëlle Kwakkel and Marnix Bras, our experts, Bram Nijhoff and Jasper Loos, shared their insights and experiences with test automation.
The topic was “Test automation in practice”. Jasper and Bram delved deeper into why test automation is so important in the software development cycle. They explained how test automation contributes to a shorter lead time, the faster release of new features, increasing test coverage and reducing risk. By enabling early feedback to developers, we can not only reduce the chance of human error, but also increase the reusability of tests.
