On Sunday, October 20, we held our very first Nekst Family Day! It was a special day for the entire family, from the youngest to the oldest, with (or without) partners, children, stuffed animals and even real pets were welcome!
From 10 AM to 3 PM, we spent the day playing, chatting, eating, laughing, and staying active together. There was something to see or do for everyone! Although the day started off a bit cloudy, it quickly turned into a beautiful, sunny afternoon.
We even had a special birthday to celebrate! One of our guests (also) turned 10, just like we did this year. And how wonderful that he chose to celebrate with us! Of course, this called for a birthday song and a birthdaygift
There was no shortage of entertainment! We flipped virtual burgers on the grill and battled it out during the VR games, chased and eliminated opponents outside in Laser tag, crashed into each other trying to score in Bubble ball, bounced as high as we could on the inflatable castle, and aimed for the bullseye in Archery tag. The arcade was full of fun and adrenaline as everyone tried to beat the high scores. And no party would be complete without Champ the Test Monkey and his coloring sheets for the little ones.
It was a great day and, as far as we’re concerned, the perfect beginning of what we hope will become an annual event! See you Nekst year!
