We Don’t Know About Yours, but Our Saturday Was Pretty Excellent! 🔥
We started this week with a huge smile on our faces! Last Saturday was a day to remember, full of fun, connection and sunshine. Our annual Nekst IT Summer BBQ took place again and it was an absolute blast!
The day was filled with lovely people in a summer setting. There was good music playing, the food was excellent, and there was a positive energy in the air. In short, all the ingredients were there to form the perfect recipe for our successful summer barbecue.
This year, all our colleagues were once again invited to attend with their partners. Together we celebrated a great party with more than 50 guests in the backyard of our beautiful office in Tiel. It was a fantastic day full of companionship and joy that further strengthened our strong bond as a team. Also due to the presence of our valued Nekst IT Global colleagues from India!
DJ Arno van Zanten (Lungarnomusic) created a sultry, summery atmosphere with a mix of sizzling songs. But what took the musical feast to a whole new level were the special lighting effects. These transformed our white monumental Nekst IT building into a true color palette and created a beautiful spectacle. The combination of the music and the light show created an enchanting atmosphere that made our party even more magical.
But no summer barbecue would be complete without delicious food, and our (house) chef Casper did not disappoint. From juicy chicken satay to perfectly grilled vegetables, the smells and flavors of the BBQ were irresistible. The sweet strawberries and the cooling ice cream for desert were the perfect conclusion to our culinary journey during the Nekst IT Summer BBQ.
For those who like a bit of competition, the pinball machines were ready to go again. This year we even bought our own pinball machine. Will you come and play sometime? It was an exciting battle that brought along some hilarity. Our photographer Guy was there to capture as many moments of the day as possible. From smiling faces to dancing colleagues, every photo is a wonderful reminder of our wonderful day. His photos will also be online soon!
The Nekst IT Summer BBQ was therefore an absolute success! We would like to thank everyone who attended and contributed to this fantastic day. We hope everyone enjoyed this day as much as we did!
