With the Sweet Cuddles from Knuffelpiet

The Sinterklaas Party at Nekst IT Was Once Again a Great Success and Was All About the Theme ‘Cuddles’

The party took place in Zinder in Tiel and all the children of Nekst IT employees brought their favorite cuddly toys. This year Sinterklaas brought Knuffelpiet, who is known for lovingly ‘cuddling‘ all cuddly toys. But the one and only enthusiastic Puzzelpiet was also brought along, who normally tests puzzles and ensures that all the pieces are neatly in the box! This day she had, among other things, ‘stafduty & mantelcare’, so Sinterklaas’ staf and mantel were in good hands. Our own cuddly Nekst IT mascot, test monkey Champ, was also present and -secretly- even sat for a moment. on Sinterklaas’ chair! Do you also see him in the photo? Shhh!

Knuffelpiet, who likes to cuddle to become zen and relaxed, had brought cuddly toys with numbers on them. These cuddly toys were used during the interactive Sint-Super-Question-Quizzz, where the participants were allowed to answer by placing their hand on the head (A), the shoulder (B) or the knee (C), depending on the answer chosen. So head-shoulders-knees… or CUDDLE, according to Knuffelpiet of course!

For example, one of the questions was: Why does Sinterklaas wear a mitre? They could choose from:
A) It’s part of his profession
B) To prevent gingerbread nuts from falling on his head or
C) It’s a kind of safety cap!

Do you know the right answer? All children got the answers right, but unfortunately 1 father did not know the correct answer. 😉

Knuffelpiet and Puzzelpiet had also devised a game in which Sinterklaas and the audience were allowed to guess which Sinterklaas songs Knuffelpiet was going to portray. This caused a lot of hilarity, especially because Sinterklaas himself was not very good at guessing and received help from the enthusiastic and smart audience.

Puzzelpiet had also taken a lesson from Hokus-Pokus-piet to further develop himself, in line with the philosophy of Nekst IT. The trick that she first called ‘the trick with the little tube and the three cloths’ was renamed by Sinterklaas as ‘The secret of the magic quiver and the colorful wonder cloths’. Take a look below to see how well she did it! #applause

The party ended with a beautiful group photo with Sinterklaas, handing out the presents and the children even had the chance to have their picture taken individually with Sinterklaas. It was a magical day that both young and old clearly enjoyed, with smiling faces, nice gifts and beautiful memories of a successful Sinterklaas party at Nekst IT. Happy nekst year, Sinterklaas!
