Nekst Scoop: Nekst IT Is the Very First IT Test Company Who Adopts a Real Monkey at the Apenheul Foundation!
By now everyone has already met our mascot Champ, The Test Monkey. Our Champ symbolizes quality assurance of software. And the nice thing is, Champ now also has a real big sister: Sandy; the super-intelligent, strong and independent Orangutan who lives in the Apenheul. Together with Apenheul Foundation we will provide a better quality of life and more information about Sandy and her kind!
Why Nekst IT Adopts a Monkey?
Orangutans are great apes. Of all the apes, they most closely resemble humans. Unfortunately, they are critically endangered in the wild. That is why they do a lot of development and scientific research in Apenheul in collaboration with universities. Our smart Sandy likes to participate! And that’s exactly what we at Nekst IT also love to do; testing for quality! 😉
Orangutans and software testers have a lot in common. They both need to be able to analyze and solve complex problems in order to achieve their goals. One of the main similarities is the ability to solve problems. For example, this could be identifying bugs in software for a tester, or coming up with ways to get food for an orangutan.
